Frank Galea,
Certified Wildlife Biologist
Frank has owned and operated GWC since 1989. Frank is certified as a Wildlife Biologist through the Wildlife Society, the international organization of wildlife biologists.

Frank coordinates, plans, and conducts threatened, endangered and sensitive species surveys. He advises and consults for energy, communication and timber companies, independent foresters and land owners as to listed species management, protection and compliance with government regulations.

Frank shares his enthusiasm for wildlife by volunteering.  He has served on a local Fish and Game Advisory Commission for 17 years and coordinates a yearly youth pheasant hunt.  He is a science counselor for Boy Scouts of America.  Frank is trying to establish the first elk-viewing area in Del Norte County.  He tracks western pond turtle locations and numbers in the local area, due to concern about the viability of this local population.  Like Robin, he is always willing to help out with orphaned or injured wildlife.

Frank and Robin enjoy international travel, having made  trips to Australia, Polynesia, Canada and Europe.  Wanting to exposing their 3 children to culture and history, they have taken them to Rome, Malta and Belize.
